Had a lovely festive meal tonight. Staff superb and the food was to die for. Some of our party had two courses whilst others had 3 and all food delicious and beautifully presented. There was also coffee and mincemeat pies. Highly recommend this venue, but suggest you reserve a table.
We were really looking forward to having a meal at the Ardler Tavern due to there being a vegetarian menu and extensive gluten free options on the online menu. We were disappointed that many of the gluten free options and vegetarian options were no longer available, and when we enquired we were horrified to discover that the fried gluten free options were cooked in the same fryer with wheat products. The front of house staff were really friendly and apologetic, and did offer to clean a fryer, however we were concerned about cross contamination so declined. The coeliac in our group didn't have anything to eat, the scampi and soup were nice.
We dropped in whilst travelling. It is Sunday, they are busy, but still found us a table. Glad they did, as everything about is place is perfect. Great food, great service, immaculate everywhere and a very friendly host.
Went last night great staff Food was perfect. I have steak pie and vegetables followed by meringue. Four in our party we were all very happy with the food and service. Definitely go back. Couldn't recommend it enough.
