Popped in and left impressed with the seeing a fish and chip shop inside a pub, the quality of the food, the price and a choice to either sit outside or in the pub. The crew were helpful and seemed to be bedding in as team. Couldn’t get a cuppa only disappointment.
Great pub with a lively and warm atmosphere. Food is reasonably priced and consistently good. Fantastic place to stop in after a visit to the pier.
Lovely countryside pub opposite the pier with a new chippy! You can order your food and then make use of the pub facilities while you wait or sit in the pub area enjoying your fish and chips 🥰
Had food here yesterday. Ordered large fish, peas and curry for two. Firstly I was overcharged but after speaking to the guy he was able to rectify this at the end of our meal. Fish was very disappointing. Standard to small in size. Very thin. Lots of batter. Curry was lovely. Shame as this would have been one of our go to places as we love Bangor pier.
We had a great meal here when they cooked for us even though we'd arrived after kitchen open hours. Enjoyed Thursday open mike for guitars, and then went back on Friday for our evening meal. Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere made it a great place to eat and drink
