Hello friends of the Talbot,
Hooray, the dark clouds are parting and a brightness is spreading upon the land the populace is astir and a low murmuring can be heard. Pub gardens are opening on the 12th April. And so it is true we shall be opening the garden at the Talbot for food and drink from 4pm on Monday the 12th April.
Bookings can be made up to 7pm after which it will be first come first served. This policy is a result of repeated ‘no shows’ last year. Uptake must be prompt as tables will not be held due to demand.
We shall be open Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th from 1600 for one week only and then Wednesday to Sunday from then on.
Opening hours are Wednesday/Thursday 1600 – 2300 Friday/Saturday 1200 -2300 Sunday 1200 -2230.
Of course Covid rules will apply,
1. Rule of six (any six households) applies outside. No service inside
2. Masks to be worn when not seated
3. Table service only
4. No cash sales
5. Oneway system for restrooms to be adhered to
We are all very excited about reopening in some capacity lets hope the weather is kind. I’m sure we can all get through this and back to some normality come June. So lets all be nice to each other and have a jolly good time.
