The Swan is a traditional British pub with a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. We attract a wide mix of people like students, office and hospital workers and tourists. We’re proud to say our menu is packed with Great British pub food classics, including iconic dishes like our hand-battered fish and chips, pie and mash and succulent burgers. Our drinks include a great range of real ales and an extensive wine list. Our cask ales range has some of the best in British beers, including the new 1730, our very own special pale ale. The team at the Swan look forward to welcoming you soon at this fantastic traditional pub in Holborn.
Good pub for a quick pint. Went there to grab something to eat after our flight. I had fish and chips which was OK, but I believe you can have better fish and chips around the area. My brother had Mac n cheese. Apparently it tasted nice but the portion size wasn’t big enough. The prices can be a killer. For small Mac n cheese, fish n chips, small non- Alc beer and a coke we paid around £50. The atmosphere was nice, but I missed a bit of music inside. There was none when we entered Service was friendly and great.
A great pub. We came here to watch the rugby world cup. The award winning ale pie was on point, huge portions and great value for central London. Great beers on tap too and cosy ambience.
We came for a quick dinner and a drink or two. We had the fish and chips and the beef pie. The fish was fairly tasteless, but the dish was overall fine, and the pie was rich and delicious, but the mash and peas were ordinary: the mash tasted like it was made from powdered potatoes. Staff were lovely and welcoming and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. My only real criticism was that there was just one female toilet cubicle and it wasn’t the best.
We visited the Swan in September 2023 - it's a great traditional English pub, nice atmosphere and super delicios food. I highly recommend the pies, fish and chips, the desserts and of course - the beer! Even when it was very crowded, Laima made sure we're comfortably seated, excellent service!
My husband and I had a very nice lunch here. The atmosphere was very nice and the service was good. My husband had the traditional fish and chips which was very good. I had the fresh garden salad with grilled chicken from their lighter bites section of the menu. The salad was perfectly dressed and the chicken was quite tender.
