Lovely Hotel very clean and tidy. The staff were great, very attentive. The room was very quiet so a really good night's sleep. Superb breakfast, cooked to order much better than a buffet. The hotel has a very interesting history which goes back a long way. The Town museum almost next door is definitely worth a visit. We would definitely visit The Swan again. Only one criticism is the location of the carpark. I think better instructions would make it clearer how to access.
We stayed with some friends between Christmas and New Year and took our dogs. Nothing was too much trouble when we made special requests, the staff we spoke to were excellent ( Kitty, Luke, Josh & Jason). Rooms were warm and cozy and the food in the restaurant was superb!
We had a Christmas family meal in the Swan hotel and it was truly delightful. Beautifully presented food and very delicious. Very accommodating as 3 members of our party were rather late and we were allowed to keep our table. Very calming and relaxed vibe. Will be back again!
Fantastic stay at the Swan Hotel. Lovely room clean and tidy bit cold but managed to turn up the radiator up a bit. Fabulous meal I had the seafood linguine delicious! My husband had the mustard chicken. Little expensive but you get what you pay for- no microwaved rubbish. Good comfy bed and good shower. Breakfast was lovely very tasty. The ambience of the hotel was homely festive and welcoming. We will return again in the future.
Stayed here as we had an event on in Stafford. Met by a lovely receptionist who explained everything well . Room was very clean with plenty of room for 2. Bed was very comfy, tho I will say I was drunk and could have slept on a park bench. I missed breakfast due to a hangover, but my husband thoroughly enjoyed his, they cooked the eggs Benedict perfectly. Car park to the rear can get a little busy so bare that in mind, but still great considering the extortionate amount the council charge locally. Will be booking again for the same event next year, and hopefully will enjoy my breakfast next time 😂
