This historical Grade II listed inn dates from the 15th century. Low beamed ceilings, wooden floors, exposed brickwork and inglenook with a real fire burning in the winter give the pub a very traditional and homely feel. Lunchtime snacks and meals are served every day. A charity quiz night is held every Tuesday. Darts, dominoes, cribbage and other card games are played. Meat raffle on Sundays. Monthly live music. There is a patio garden, with pond and stocks, and a heated smoking area, at the front. Children under 14 are not allowed in the bar. Guest beers from supplier's list.
