Nice little hidden gem of a pub tucked away from the road. Friendly bar staff and welcoming locals so an excellent way to spend the evening. Dog friendly too & a nice warm fire
Warm and friendly welcome was emphasised by the cozy interior. The definition of a local pub, with perfectly poured pints and great food. There was a small issue with the food, but may have been due to personnal preference and/or late rush, but staff where overly-accomadating. Very kind, and friendly. A must visit for good food
Best steak I have had in a very long time. Brilliant and welcoming staff, beautiful village location. Highly recommended.
A group of 10 ladies had dinner at The Sun last night. Delicious food and great service..lots of clean plates and fun had. Would thoroughly recommend a visit. The chips are amazing!

A stone built pub with slate roof in a quiet village. There are five real ales available. Food is available Friday to Sunday and it is advisable to book. Outside there are extensive lawns often used for barbeques and other functions in summer.
