Small hotel with bar and restaurant. Booking is advised because there is limited seating, and on our evidence can get quite busy, and for good reason. Food and the real ales were both outstanding. We ate from the bar menu, however the full restaurant menu looked fabulous. My desert was probably the best I've ever had.

What a fantastic hotel. Very friendly staff, lovely room with just the best view and really delicious food at diner and breakfast. Worth every penny. We will be back next year.

Unforgettable Highland Charm - Summer Isles Hotel, Scotland During our enchanting NC500 expedition, our stay at the Summer Isles Hotel was undoubtedly a remarkable highlight. Nestled in the ruggedly beautiful landscape of the Scottish Highlands, this boutique hotel delivered an experience and breathtaking natural beauty. The Summer Isles Hotel is set in an extraordinary location, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, bay, and of course, the mesmerising Summer Isles themselves. The scenery, with its ever-changing palette of colours, was a constant source of awe and serenity throughout our stay. Our room at the hotel was a haven of comfort and elegance, decorated with a tasteful, minimalist aesthetic that highlighted the beauty of the surrounding landscape. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, and fitted with all the amenities we could wish for. Dining at the Summer Isles Hotel is an experience in itself. The restaurant places a strong emphasis on local produce, and the dishes, expertly prepared and beautifully presented, were a gastronomic delight. From the freshest seafood to succulent Highland game, every meal was an adventure in flavours. The attentive, knowledgeable service added to the overall dining experience. The staff were a standout feature of the Summer Isles Hotel. Their genuine warmth, attention to detail, and dedication to guest satisfaction made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Even though the hotel is somewhat isolated, its location adds to its charm and makes it a unique stop on the NC500 route. There was plenty of parking space, and the hotel served as a convenient base for exploring the captivating local area. In conclusion, the Summer Isles Hotel is a must-visit on any NC500 journey. It promises an immersive Highland experience, combining stunning natural beauty, luxurious accommodation, exquisite dining, and warm hospitality. We left the Summer Isles Hotel with our hearts full and our memories richer. We can't recommend it highly enough! If they would have a charger for our Electric Car that would be even more fantastic.

Beautiful place, beautiful view, gorgeous and spacious rooms, clean, cosy, with friendly service. No flaw, and we got our much needed break. A little remote and have amazing sunset. Dinner is great too! We had a lovely time

Beautifully located. Clean & pretty room. Staff were all really friendly. There’s a little pub/bar in the hotel which was brilliant. Dinner and breakfast were both lovely. Nice views from the hotel. We had a pleasant and comfortable stay!
