Popped in on way back home from Westfield. Nice to have outside seating. The woman behind the bar is delightful, so friendly to those who are not locals, and so welcoming - an asset to the pub for sure!!🤔 Definitely returning though as not far away and this is a proper pub, which are few and far between in London, and it's worth it for having the moral high ground in manners. Not sure how many visits constitute being a local, but will be interesting to see if I get any acknowledgement, or a thank you next time I order a drink, or spoken to at all for that matter - the entire transaction carried on wih only me talking, saying please and thank you. 1 star for food as no food served here, 2 stars for service because the other member of staff is ok, 4 for atmosphere because the other locals seem happy enough to talk to new patrons, even if the staff don't!
a bad experience. I was at the pub with my friends having fun and singing and I was sharing a drink with my friend and one of the employees with black glasses came up to me and told me that she knew I hadn't bought a drink for myself and if I don't buy drinks I won't should go to pubs. It turned my night from a happy one to a sad one. Employees shouldn't treat customers like that because I enjoyed the experience and now I'm never going back.
The Stewart Arms is a proper community pub where you can still get a large glass of lovely French Rose for £6.30. It has been this price for about a year now and they havent put it up immediately after the Gov announcement last week. They have live music every Friday. It was brilliant last night.
Excellent pub. They had @matcmusic on when we went. We had a great night enjoying quality beer, music, wine, whilst enjoying less quality conversation (totally on us, we're appalling conversationalists). Bar staff are brilliant. We're going back for as long as they'll have us
Very nice place amazingly well situated 🍺 I have been there recently and that means, yesterday. It was very nice surprise so I love that place. Very nice service very good prices very nice welcoming atmosphere. You have extra amenities like being able to play 🎱 or music from a song machine yeah yeah I know that it has its name junkbox or something like that 😂 again amazing 🤩 place to visit and relax 🥂 to good life 🥂
