I was delighted to go with my step son and partner for the first time last night 14th July 2023, we then left for my partners son went home and we walked are dogs! We did ask before we left. If we was aloud back just to be perlite as we was new there, there reply was yes of course! We then returned and was approached by two people from the club telling us we were not aloud back in it’s a small village and people were talking? To my reply why??? Me and my partner suffer from mental health and I even showed my medication box! We are loud maybe and not quite or because of having a mental health and been ourselves we were barred😢 We was told we could write a letter about the situation and have a meeting down there. Why should we have to go through that just to have a drink in my local club which I’ve lived in Steeton for nearly 10 years . I’m very upset and disappointed in people judging other people before they even know them!! I was a member of the con club in Haworth for years before I moved to Steeton! The people who run this club should not be in work like that or they should not judge someone just because they are different!
