A wonderful, friendly, and authentic locals pub owned and operated by some of the nicest people I have ever met on my travels. Owner Steve and his wife Donna treated us like family. We stopped by while in town for a wedding and we were treated with such kindness that we came back the next evening for karaoke! Will return again someday!
Old Gorton pub not many left very busy Friday nights and Sundays with Bingo
Great place ! We went in after watching a concert at the monastery and ended up having one of the best nights ever ! Friendly place and lovely people!
I only went in to ask for directions but seeing what a boiling hot day it was thought I better have a pint too. The regulars and barmaid/landlady couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming and also gave me the directions to a nearby hotel too. A real traditional English pub well worth a visit if you're in the area.
What a lovely friendly pub . Steve & Donna and there customers made us very welcome making room for us to sit down after calling in on the way home from the Monastery which is 5 minutes away. Thank you for lovely evening would definitely recommend 😊
