We were staying in Edinburgh to see our daughter and wanted one night with a local pub. We felt so welcome, the food was lovely and the whisky recommendation was brilliant!! Saw locals and visitors there and the atmosphere was great 😃👍

Was here for the first time with a friend and my dog. Enjoyed our lunch, nice, clean well stocked bar and the staff were very friendly. Will definitely go back, especially as they'll be showing the six nations rugby next month!

We had a wonderful Christmas dinner at the Starbank today. The best I think I have ever had in any restaurant, hotel or bar. It couldn’t be faulted. The two gentleman who served us could not have been more attentive or helpful. I’ll be going back to sample more of their menu.

I sought out this restaurant on internet before arriving in Edinburgh because of its amazing charm. After visiting the restaurant, we were delighted with its interior, helpful service and tasty food. When we visiting Edinburgh in the future again, we will certainly stop again.
