Named after the famous, the star of the West pub in West street sadly now demolished, this is a busy pub in a busy part of the Old Town. Not a particularly cosy pub. No pub games darts or pool. For a pub that's not a food pub I'm surprised there is no cask conditioned hand pulled real ale. The standard response there's no demand for it, well there won't be if you don't sell it! Outside seating area under a canopy at the front of the pub, for the smokers.
