Being in Cornwall, we have access to great producers and wherever we can we use local ingredients in our menu; sourcing our fresh meat from Dales Family Butchers in Helston, our fresh fish from Seabourne Fish in Penryn and our fruit and vegetables from Westcountry in Falmouth.
We have a great selection of beers, wines and spirits including well known Cornish brands and lesser known local and artisan producers.

Absolutely love this pub . The Sunday roasts are delicious. We always visit for a roast when we are visiting the area on holiday and it never disappoints . Everytime we receive such a warm friendly welcome. The food, service and ambience are all excellent. Would highly recommend
We rented a property across the road from this lovely old Inn. Great hosts, super food, especially my spinach and ricotta cannelloni and gorgeous merlot! Well worth a visit!
A hidden gem... the atmosphere was wonderful, the food was wonderful, however the service was unbeatable. Whilst on holiday in Cornwall, we passed this place and so glad we booked a meal. We attended as a family of 6 (with a child and a toddler) and we all throughly enjoyed the meal. My daughter even said it deserves 5 stars! The staff all make you feel welcome, they are funny, attentive and friendly. Extremely welcoming and kind towards families (pleasing a 1 year old isn't always easy). We have all said we will visit again!
We decided to try and book in here very last minute and Andrew was very good to find us a table close to the time we asked for. Front of house, Anthony and the young barman were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home immediately offering a really personal service. Between us we ordered a mixture of meals and everything arrived together, piping hot and really well presented. I opted for the seafood platter and it didn't disappoint, the side of skin on chips were a fantastic accompaniment. The atmosphere in the pub was very relaxed yet had the feel of a quality establishment. You clearly manage the amount of guests you have in at once in order to maintain a brilliant quality of service and standard of food. We weren't surprised to hear other guests booking for multiple future visits. Our only disappointment is we didn't discover you sooner in our holiday so we could come again!! Absolutely fabulous we would highly recommend this place for good quality food, excellent customer service and a fun friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We reserved a table for 6 and we were not disappointed our Sunday roast was cooked to perfection and the presentation was incredible. The beef was so tender and the vegetables were cooked just how we liked them. Crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and we added cauliflower cheese too. This was a real feast and we still managed to find room for desert. The chocolate brownies were a taste sensation and definitely a real winner for the family. We have already booked a return visit later in the week. Thank You for your hospitality and looking forward to seeing you again soon.
