Always fabulous, it was mega packed the day we went with a party of 15! Staff were brilliant, nothing to much trouble and perfect pub grub that arrived with not 1 mistake!
Really nice place. Excellent food at very reasonable prices. Good choice of beers. Polite efficient staff made us very welcome. Recommend you give it a try.
Went into the Stap for lunch with my friend last Wednesday. What a great time we had. It was Christmas themed and there were two Santa's doing a lunchtime party singing and dancing. We were thoroughly entertained the staff were super friendly and our lunch was lovely. Thanks Sue and staff. What a great idea.
Lovely welcome and helpful staff. We enjoyed our food and plates were quickly cleared Burger was delicious. Only comment would be to chop the spring onions a bit finer. Clean place, easy parking and very pleasant Saturday lunch.
Popped in for a quick drink last weekend. Nice pub and nice atmosphere. First time we've been here but will definitely be back. Lovely ♥️

The ship is a traditional boozer. Small but friendly. The locals don't bite . The staff are good mannered and friendly. Possibly the best pint in town. Has to be tried to be appreciated.Recently had front windows replaced with traditional sliding sashes
