Cosy family-friendly hostelry, an original 'Redfern' pub with unique and original features. Situated less than half a mile from Carlisle's south-western boundary, close to the Cumbrian Way and National Cycle Route 7,
There is regular live music, with Irish music sessions every first and third Wednesday. Children are welcome until 9pm and well behaved dogs are permitted. The pub is the Brewery Tap for Carlisle Brewing Co showcasing their beer on three pumps.
Went for a book club meeting had a fascinating acting chat about Carlisle as was
Lovely little pub. Very friendly. Great ales from Carlisle brewery.
Lovely friendly local rural pub with award winning locally brewed ales. They have monthly musical acts too.
Went to the Sunday afternoon live music session (run by the Spinners Arms once a month) What a brilliant time we had!! I'd definitely recommend a trip to this lovely little traditional pub in the village of Cummersdale on the outskirts of Carlisle which serves Carlisle Brewing Company hand pulled ales and great entertainment. Lovely landlady and friendly helpful staff well done!!
Friendly local pub in the village of Cummersdale. Good range of beers etc. Real ales are excellent, it's the home of the Carlisle Brewing Co., so they should be! No food, but usual range of bar snacks. Nice detour from the Dalston to Carlisle riverside path (Cumbria Way).
