South Shields Football Club has a range of function and private event offerings, available to suit any needs.
From weddings to birthday parties and business meetings to Christenings, 1st Cloud Arena is a popular venue for functions of all kinds.
Situated a five-minute walk from Bede Metro Station, the home of South Shields FC has a marquee which has a capacity of 200 people, a main function suite which can host 100 guests and a smaller room which holds up to 60 people.
The bar in the club's modern new stand which opened in 2022 is also available for hire, and can host up to 75 people.

Nice ground with an eclectic mix of stands, buildings & terrace surrounding the pitch. Food available in several outlets & had a couple of pints in the Alum Ale House bar in the far corner of the stadium - good atmosphere mix of old and young non-league fans.
Free parking on street . Adjacent to Metro station. Away team spectators have corner section with limited cover but there are toilets and a refreshment van . Unfortunately a young section of the home crowd sing abusive chants using obscene language.
There is loads on offer at this football ground. Fab staff and great atmosphere. I was here for a charity football match. Better facilities than some bigger stadiums
Went to the game v Ratcliffe Borough, treated myself to a bit of hospitality. Nice two courses, beer and service excellent and a good seat in the stand. Entertaining 0 0 score line but really enjoyed the experience. Do recommend you try it out.
Excellent pitch for the standard, friendly and lively home fans, welcoming to opposition. Queues for the bars were massive and not really any option to drink elsewhere. Easy to get to by metro. A few small stands around the stadium and some areas with just a barrier.
