The Skerries is an absolute dive, typically very friendly staff that are far more perceptive than you might expect from their relatively calm and casual demeanours. In spite of the type of bar the Skerries is, it's a bit of a shining beacon of warmth on the dirtier side of town. The drinks are affordable, theres good variety, though nothing too special. The cocktails are, on occasion, a tad too sweet for my liking. They have pot noodles available for purchase, which is rather cool, not something you see every day. You won't find such diverse clientele in any other pub in Gwynedd. If you're after a slightly grimy pub to drink into the morning and stumble home from - Skerries is the place.

Great pub ❤️ love the original decor and such a warm, friendly welcome from the owner and Bruno the Boxer. Great atmosphere, fantastic drink choices and sampled the cocktails which were lush x Visiting Bangor for our daughters 21st birthday whilst studying at the University. Bar staff and owner made us so welcome and a great night celebrating, thank you. Loved that you can choose your own songs on the Duke box. Thanks all for a good night. We took our puppy with us as dogs welcome, brilliant.

Food is bar snacks and pot noodles... What more do you need when drunk? Lovely bar staff and great atmosphere everyone I meet there are polite and if not, they're dealt with. They have a new style juke box and the music gets TURNED UP when it's late :)

Ended up in this pub after visiting a beach in Anglesey. The pub is quite run down but has a pool table which is a big plus. Pints were fine and had a good selection but there were loads of flies for some reason which really took away from the experience. Unfortunately there are another pubs in walking distance that offer a better experience.
