I came here on a Saturday night, refused entrance as we were told it was a private event. Strangely, other friends and locals were permitted entrance, no one mentioned the place being hired out, in fact, it seems that they just use this as an excuse to prohibit groups who don't conform to the typical Witham scene.

I found this bar last night. It’s small and hidden (which are usually the best ones!) it’s got that cooky cool style. The womens bathroom is called lady garden and gives off Alice in wonderland vibes. The upstairs has red velvet and wooden seating with a big mirror wall and an small space for the dj. I could imagine a lot of photos been taken up there for the gram. The bar lady was lovely and chatty, just what you need behind the bar. Iv been told it gets busy here weekend evenings. The only bar in Witham licensed til 3am. The guy on the door keeps things in check, keeps rude or obnoxious people out so there’s no trouble. Would love to come by on a Saturday when the DJ’s there.

Fantastic interior. It was quiet when we got there so had the upstairs to ourselves. Very instagramable. Service was great. Shots and drinks were cool. Only wish that the happy hour was for longer as if you’re going out for the evening, you miss the happy hour and the drinks are not cheap. Will be back for sure.

Great little bar. Various selection of beers on daught. Nicely tucked away off the high street. They do food but i haven't eaten here yet. Up stairs is another seating area with a VIP lounge. Definitely worth a visit.
