Went for a meal with about 11 friends, food was mediocre, I was made aware that my festive burger I had pre ordered was vegan, don't know why this was festive, and had to get them to put a beef patty in it! After the meal we all asked for coffee but got told the machine was turned off and they can't make us any, then they didn't have any port or Tia Maria, so while we finished our drinks and carried on chatting they started mopping the floor directly behind our chairs filling our noses with the smell of bleach, everyone left very disappointed, won't be returning or recommending.

First time of visiting The Bulls Head, here on holiday with my brother and sister-in-law who live locally. From stepping into the place to the point of leaving the whole experience was amazing. Nothing was to much trouble, management, staff and even the chef were very attentive but not over bearing. They worked great as a team in a relaxed way, showing great people skills to customers with a friendly banter. Food was superb, great presentation and could not be faulted. Only negative........ they ran out of cheesecake. Would highly recommend, very affordable and a place to build priceless memories.

Ample parking with a spacious dinning area to the rear of pub. The Sunday lunch was generous , well cooked and good value. Slight negatives would be the wait over 45 mins for the food and being seated in thoroughfare when the main seating area was less 25% occupied

We did a last minute booking with The Bull via their website in the morning (which is really quick and efficient) for an early dinner at 5:30 before heading off to the cinema for 7. We arrived (plenty of parking, lots of outside space) and were seated quickly at a nice little table behind the partition. There weren't many others when we arrived however, as time passed it soon filled up and it was nice to see nearly every table in the restaurant reserved. As usual, I couldn't make my mind up on the menu front so plumped for Fish and Chips which is usually a good test of quality. My Husband went for the Bull Burger and Kamikaze fries (be warned...not for the feint-hearted. Delicious, moreish and extremely hot!). My fish was really good and happily there was more fish than batter. Could've happily eaten a plate of the homemade mushy peas and tartar sauce by itself!). The menu is broad and varied but not overwhelming and by the looks of what was coming out of the kitchen they're doing what they do, well. Although I had pop, there was a good range of ales, largers, wines etc on. The servers were really polite, happy, helpful and knowledgeable and were constantly busy and working to make sure no one was waiting. We were offered the dessert menu but only declined as we needed to head off. I asked for the bill and didn't have to wait (which makes a nice change from a lot of places!). Also, the toilets are absolutely spotless which is always a massive plus! We'll be back at some point :)
