Stopped in on the off-chance, with wife and sister in law, so pleased we did. A lovely pub and stunning home cooked food. The service was superb, efficient, and friendly, too. Thank you, we wish you all the luck. We will be back soon. Lisa, Vicki & Mick.
A group of 8 of us went for a meal last night and ate from the Christmas menu. Starter: baked camembert, Main: turkey with veg & gravy, Dessert: cheesecake. I have never been to the pub before and can say I would definitely return. The food was absolutely delicious and we all throughly enjoyed every mouthful!! The staff were really friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. There were no delays/long waits being served the drinks or food courses. The table setting was nice and you didn’t feel crowded by other people there. There was a lovely atmosphere and no loud music which meant we were able to have conversations easily with one another. I was impressed with the whole evening and would definitely return 👍🏻
Lovely place and the server we had was super but I didn't catch her name unfortunately! Sat in bar as we had the dog. Both had beef brisket pie off the specials which was 🤌 delish and plenty of it. Server came back to ask if we would like more gravy also which is a refreshing change from having to ask as in most places (of course we had more it was lush) all in all really nice place and meal. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely pub and delicious food! So glad we happened to drive past and pop in for some lunch. Will definitely return. Service fast!! Staff helpful and friendly!!
Been meaning to go here for a meal for awhile and managed to call in this week.. The place was empty but that was OK. Was greeted by the young lady behind the bar and shown to our seats. The deco is really cosy and plenty of seating.. Menu is vast range and prices not too dear. I ordered the chicken with cheese and leek sauce and hubby ordered gammon. When it was served it came on big plates and was full.. Couldn't believe the size.. Food was absolutely delicious.. And will definitely be calling in again. Highly recommended
