Best bar in town if you like quality music and great stafg who go the extra mile to make you welcome. Also safe as good quality door staff here who care for their clientele ...well done all round. The drag queens are spectacular.
Brilliant drag bar in the heart of Newcastle. Easy to get to, close to lots of other bars. Cheap as chips drinks, lots of offer including bar deals! Toilet access and seating available. Nightly entertainment available!
Bobby's is one of my absolute favourite bars in Newcastle. Its super inclusive, everyone is always friendly and the staff are legends. It's welcoming to all as long as you are welcoming to everyone too 😊
Bobby's Bar is situated at 78 Scotswood Rd Newcastle and directly opposite Leonardo hotel formally known as Jury's Inn and next right beside Redugh Bridge. I have been here on many occasions but recently Thursday evenings for what I can say is a great night out to be had all. Rue Paul's Drag Race is shown on Thursday 9pm -10pm and you will see past contestants giving meet & greets, entertainment with talk and audience participation. They have devised a game where you scan Q Code from around the bar and vote whom you think will win that weeks episode for the converted Rues badge or the challenge. This is a great place to visit if you love Rue Paul's Drag race. There is no food on offer here but bar snack can be available, during the week can be peaceful so if you like a relaxing no stress day or evening then during the week is best time to visit, but if you like 3 deep at the bar then Thurs/Fri/Sat would be best. To Kirk (Owner) My only downside to Bobby's is that there is no WiFi available for customers, but I feel this could be changed in light of Thursday evenings as you are asked to scan Q codes to join in, and not everybody is on a unlimited internet access on their phone !
