A weekend of walking, we stopped off in Beddgelert today, this pub is so charming and warmly invites you in, the staff are so engaging and friendly, the food was lovely, a mix of locals and walkers, lots of cute dogs and just a lovely atmosphere. Thank you for the complimentary tea 🫖 Look forward to returning in the spring.
We were expecting to be turned away, as after 14 of us (7 adults and 7 children and a dog) had been walking for 6 hours in the rain, all dripping wet. We thought it was too nicer looking pub for use to enter. However the welcome could not have been warmer. Thank you. The staff were brilliant and the facilities were exceptional. Definitely going to revisit. An asset to Beddgelert and Wales. Once again thank you.
We called in here for an evening meal and it was brilliant. The food was incredible and we ended up taking some away with us, because the portions are huge. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, creating a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. There are lots of tabletop games and activities available (for kids and adults) and even blankets if you want to get extra cosy. I would definitely recommend visiting if you're nearby.
We absolutely loved our stay here! The rooms were lovely and clean and the whole place had such a welcoming vibe. The staff were very helpful and were very accommodating with our dog, even bringing her her own sausage for breakfast! A great place to be based in the lovely village of Beddgelert (with a very good breakfast to start off your day!) Will be back very soon, thank you!
Had a lovely 1 night stay at the Saracens Head. I rang 2 days before to book the room and Sheryl was very helpful and booked us in the Superior King Room (2), this was a lovely room with nice little touches and robes to use if needed. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had drinks there in the afternoon, then had food & drinks later that evening. All the food was lovely, and even though they were really busy, we didn't wait long. The owners were really friendly and accommodating (they've only been there 9 weeks). We will definitely be staying again.
