The Perfact Dartmoor Hideaway For Drinking And Dining.
The pub is a former 15th-century church house inn. It takes its name from the oak tree on the village green, which is reputedly some 800 years old. This is one of the few remaining traditional Dartmoor Inns, with a flagstone floor & old beams.
Visited last night for the first time after a recent change of management. The food was delicious - pub standards on the menu, some great alternatives on the specials board. Excellent pudding. Happy to see they're now serving Dartmoor Zero alcohol free beer. Really friendly service and food came swiftly.
