We dined at the restaurant only, no room, the food was very well presented and served in good timing. Fish and chips good, do not suggest to upgrade for scampi, small portion and not adding anything speacial really to the main. Steaks were not cooked properly, could really see one of the side to be more cooked than the other but overall good quality. Desserts tasted nice and fair portions for the price. A good night out into a beautiful location
Had dinner with my family on Saturday. A very tasty squid and Korean chicken starter. Then a lovely venison and seafood grill. And excellent serving. Very tasty and served well. Coffee with a very nice little home made biscuit. We enjoyed so much, we will be returning very soon !!!
Returning post refurbishment and well worth the journey to visit, stunning makeover, plenty of atmosphere but better than that, an amazing and friendly reception on arrival, outstanding customer service and excellent food to back it all up. Will be retuning, had a delicious Roast Dinner and can cater for food intolerance, nothing too much trouble, lovely ambience for an enjoyable meal. Would recommend. Great views and close walk to Portishead Harbour from top road. Dog friendly. Beautiful terrace and outside seating.
Stayed here for the night on Friday as I was in the area on business. The room was very spacious, and the bed really comfortable. Beautiful shower area as well. I had a lovely meal in a stunning restaurant. The staff were extremely professional, and very friendly. Highly recommended and will certainly be returning again the the near future.
Ate here last night. Food was to a high standard, I had 3 courses from the festive menu and my partner had the Gammon. Everything was lovely. Our server Isabelle was fab. Really lovely young lady, very pleasant and polite. She is a fantastic representative of your establishment. Also, as a side note have been a regular to the Royal for few years now and would like to save what a grand job has been done on the refurbishment.
