Hidden gem, pub visited mostly by locals but everyone is welcome. Staff are extremely friendly and will look after you right after you step inside. Must visit if you are in the area!

This is one of the old original pubs of Woolwich, pity it's off the beaten track more people should visit this treasure of a pub. Connie is your Hostess, a lovely young Woman with a pleasant personality who makes you feel at home 😉

First impression. Old Pub. Staff welcoming and chatty. Customer next to me, he started chatting and made me feel really welcome to the Rose and the area. Random side. Their is a parrot in pub, iguana and a Original Steven Gerard football boot. Reasonable prices, and a few real ales. yes I would visit again if in area. Reason for 5 is its Randomness of everything good. THANKS
