Situated in North Bar Without and next to the iconic Race course, The Rose and Crown public house is one of Beverley's most striking pubs, with over 300 years of history to its name. We are a traditional pub serving quality drinks, cocktails & real ales.
Recently purchased in late 2020, the Rose and Crown has sadly been closed for some significant time and therefore was in much need of restoration.
The owner who also owns several successful public houses in the surrounded area has undertaken a large scale project to improve the building, and sympathetically restore the period features.
We now are proud to have a fully renovated ground floor. We welcome muddy boots and paws in our relaxed bar area. We have on offer fine ales and quality drinks, both inside and outside our 2 beer gardens.
At the front entrance of the pub we have a traditional pub beer garden and to the rear we have our ‘stables yard’ which is lovely outdoor area with its own bar and undercover seating.
To come in the future...
We will be offering a first floor function room, which is a fantastic space for gathering and celebrations to enjoy. It offers an extra special element of having the first floor balcony with views across the historic Beverley Bar.
Our first and second floor will be converted in the perfect group celebration accommodation for visitors wishing to enjoy everything Beverley has to offer, especially the iconic Race course which is only a short walk away.
