LET US INTRODUCE OURSELVES

We are a country pub, set in the beautiful village of Durley. We pride ourselves in offering fantastic food, well kept ales and great wines, combined with a warm welcome and friendly, efficient service. We have comfy sofas, log fires and a fantastic outside space, with a large decking area and an even larger garden with play equipment for the children.

Martin started his career in catering and hospitality, at the tender age of 15 as a pot wash boy at Marwell Zoo, Winchester, where he stayed for over 5 years. From there, Martin managed various bars and restaurants in the Portsmouth and Southampton area, before deciding to be his own boss and taking the role as Landlord of The Robin Hood in 2010.

The Robin Hood in Durley is an absolute gem! From the delectable cuisine that tantalizes your taste buds with every bite to the impeccable service that leaves you feeling truly valued, this place is a culinary haven. The ambiance is the cherry on top, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that complements the outstanding food and service perfectly. A definite 5-star experience across the board! They also welcome furry 4 legged friends. Many thanks to Kevin, Jen & all the team!

Excellent food and service. Polite, attentive staff. A wider range of alcohol free lager would be a suggestion but that would be personal choice. Good choice of alcohol free wine if wanted. Good selection of real ales. Wonderful menu, everything sounded tempting so will definitely visit again. Highly reccomend the breaded brie starter and slow roast belly pork main.Pleasant, enjoyable evening.

Visited in a group of 4 adults with a two year old. We booked for 3.30 pm on a Sunday afternoon and when we arrived it was still busy. Friendly welcome and friendly service the whole time we were there. Lovely selection of food, including roast lunches, which we all had. Food was excellent and we didn't have to wait long at all. Would highly recommend. Plenty of parking.

I have heard a lot of good things about The Robin Hood, and it's fair to say I was not disappointed. The food was very good, and it was definitely worth a visit. The only down side was the pub was busy and it was rather noisy, but overall it was very enjoyable.

Had two meals here now and both have been excellent. So much more than "pub grub". Whenever a restaurant doesn't offer you every dish known to man, you know that's a good sign! The best quality ingredients, cooked and presented beautifully. The staff are always friendly and polite and don't constantly ask "Is everything ok?"
