The inn dates back to Victorian times, and it is believed that the Robin Hood first came to being in 1884. Many years ago, salt workers from Droitwich Spa and Stoke Prior used to frequent the Robin Hood to quench their thirsts after labouring over the steaming hot vats of salt.

Robin Hood has become our favourite place to go for a roast on a Sunday. Christmas was a bit of a bust due to illness & we were also celebrating a job promotion for a member of family. We had starters, mains & desserts (plus kid meals) & everything was great. I personally had the trio of meats & all cooked lovely. Staff were great, there's a mix of older/younger & all were very good. Looking forward to trying the standard menu soon for a couple birthdays & obviously the roasts. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our waitress was awesome, sorry I don't know her name. She was really funny and very helpful. I had the pie and the sticky toffee pudding. It tasted incredible. Also....bring back the onion rings!
Good was pretty good. There was a small issue of a few starters not coming out for a fair while after other people eating starters had long finished theirs. However it was an honest mistake. Ordered from lunch menu, pricing is good.
Our family group meal had a warm welcome & we arrived early but that didn’t phase them after the busy festive season . We had a lovely table in front of the fire for 8. The service was outstanding even though they only had 2 staff on - they worked with great efficiency to give us a great experience . Food was very good & generous portions . Many places could take a lesson from team at The Robin Hood to give a great customer experience , thank you. Perhaps the only feedback which is no fault of the staff is the flooring / carpets are looking a bit tired - maybe a refresh is due .
Celebrated my daughters birthday. Service was brilliant. The fish and chips was really nice and the fish is really big and worth the money. My daughter couldn't finish hers so if you are not a big eater you won't either. Haven't been here for a while and will definitely return again very soon.
