Lovely meal for hubby, adult son, and I Quiet as it was Monday evening. Hubby had gammon and chips with egg and pineapple. Son had Beef lasagne, and I had hunters chicken. All plates cleared! Very tasty and prices reasonable. Service was slightly slow, but probably because it was a Mon evening. Servers were cheerful and friendly. Puddings were lovely too. Absolutely too many calories, but every single one was tasty!
Having driven past lots of times we finally booked a table online for Sunday lunch. On arrival someone had left a full dog poo bag to the left of the front door. We waited to be seated and were quickly offered a choice of the conservatory or inside. I chose the conservatory. Menus were already on the table, I'm not sure how the carvery option works as it wasn't mentioned and everyone chose from the menu. A young server quickly took our order and brought our drinks. We enjoyed the food, the room was busy but very pleasant. We will definitely return.
A friend and I came here while I was travelling through on the 19/1/24 Needed a snack so ordered the calamari bites, holloumi fries, cheesy garlic bread, onion rings and lamb kofta bites . The food is sublime and amazing in taste I would highly coming here The venue is set on the river so look forward to coming back in the summer Massive shout out to john the chef on some bloody good food Thank you to the lovely ladies who took my order and for their lovely table service We will be back
We booked in here for lunch and had a great time. The welcome was friendly and quick. Our table (13..unlucky for some but not us today) was a window one with great views of the river. We had Kelly looking after us and taking our order. She was just brilliant. Amusing, friendly, charismatic, charming and most of all very efficient. She clearly enjoys her work and has a very good rapport with customers. The food was delicious (great chef... think it was Kelly's sister) and beautifully cooked and presented. The menu was varied with plenty of choice to please most tastes. The desserts were to die for.... excellent creative menu. Collette also looked after us later on and was very pleasant and friendly. Four of us loved everything about our time spent at the Riverside and all of us will be recommending it to our family and friends. Thank you Kelly, Collette and Kelly's chef sister.... X
The meals at the Riverside are a very high quality. The staff were very helpful and worked hard. We had a table for 4 people and we will definitely all return.
