About us

The Rising Sun was built in 1692 and was used to make fishing nets but this changed in 1784 when Richard Sutton opened it as an Ale House and it has been selling pints ever since.

We are the new custodians of this lovely village pub and we would like to extend a very warm welcome to you.

At the bar we serve London Pride all year round with guest ales to complement along with Kronenbourg 1664, Fosters, Beavertown Neckoil, Guinness, Birra Moretti, Heineken Silver, Inches Cider and Strongbow Dark Fruits as well as bottled lagers, ciders and soft drinks.

We have a good selection of wines to choose from.

Set in a lovely seaside village location, 150 yards from the beach, with a cosy interior for getting together with your friends and boasting a good size beer garden for those warm summer afternoons and evenings to relax and kick back for a while.
