Great lunch! Absolutely delicious steak with proper thick cut chips. We couldn't fault the food or service and will definitely be recommending it to our friends. Very satisfied customers here 😊
My wife and I had lunch at the Rising Sun Backwell on 14/01/24 with 2 friends. It was very busy but nevertheless we were served quickly. 3 ordered the roast and 1 the roast mushroom wellington. The portions were very large and 3 would have preferred the option of a smaller portion. However the food was properly cooked and very nice. Unfortunately we were all too full to have dessert. It was a very enjoyable visit.
Stayed NYE as attending a party nearby, the staff were warm and welcoming, the bedroom spacious and clean, we had a quick meal and the burger was very good and portions generous. We were running late for the party and struggled to get a cab, Simon went above and beyond to make sure we got to our party on time! The breakfast was lovely. First time visiting Bristol but we will definitely be back, this pub is a real gem with great decor
Xmas meal and overnight stay with breakfast before flying from Bristol Airport. OUTSTANDING from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. Staff were simply wonderful. Festive meal was beautifully cooked and worth every penny. Thanks to everyone. This will now be a regular staying point before flights which are only 10 mins away.
What a lovely place to visit. Brilliant staff, Sarah and Molly, are genuinely nice people with great customer service and baraista skills. The food here is amazing. The garden is great for the kids with a big play area for the kids. Disability serves available and will cater to your needs. I will return and advise you to do so also.
