A little gem. , boutique style bedrooms. . Proper food and a real ale pint . with the friendliest staff ever! Historic location. Locals are knowledgeable aswell .
Had an amazing Christmas dinner. Best turkey I've ever eaten in a pub. All home cooked.
Superb little traditional pub. Excellent food although a bit pricey it was extremely delicious. A great pint too. Lovely cosy atmosphere with a nice toasty log burning fire and friendly staff making sure you are attended to with prompt service. Parking can be a bit sketchy as it's on a small square. Can't wait to book my next visit.
Not stayed here as live locally. They serve real ale and make excellent food. What's not to love.
We have just spent three nights at this delightful old pub. They have a good choice of real ales and delicious food. The room was nicely presented and very comfortable and we were not disturbed by noise from the pub as the people drinking there were very considerate.
