A traditional community-orientated freehouse in the heart of the picturesque North Wales village of Llanarmon-yn-Ial, Denbighshire and situated under the Clwydian hills in a designated “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty”.
The Raven Inn is one of the few villages remaining which still retains a church, chapel, shop, school and pub. The Raven Inn has been run by the community since August of 2009. A traditional country pub, you can always be assured of a warm welcome. We offer mouth watering, locally sourced food and the best real ales North Wales has to offer. We regularly bring in the best of local musical talent fitting to a traditional country pub. A company ‘limited by guarantee’ has been set up to run the pub, Raven Mad Ltd. The Raven Inn is manned by volunteers and any profit can only be used to fund village community projects. The whole story was filmed as part of the Save Our Boozer series with the first showing on December 8th 2009 on the ‘Blighty’ satellite channel. The pub and rooms are walker and well behaved dog friendly so please do come in and give us a try. I’m sure you will be back for more.
The most amazing Pub. Lovely atmosphere, the food is amazing, it's in a small quiet village and well worth going to. Highly recommended.
Stopped by for a quick drink after a long walk. Beautiful village, beautiful quiet pub and area. Wish we had ordered food. Looked lovely and large portions. Very reasonable pricing. Will definitely return.
Dropped in for and evening meal and I must say it was absolutely fantastic! My girlfriend and I both had the steak and it was amazing, cooked to perfection and the starter of porkies was beautiful! Excellent place and will go there again!
Lovely community run pub good selection of beers and lovely home cooked food. Best to book in advance though .
Cozy pub, friendly staff, and nice place to stay. Beautiful village, and the pub is situated across the street from an 800+ year old church
