So we went for drinks with a group of friends. Unfortunately the service was pretty bad. We all gave up and just started going to the bar instead of ordering through waiting staff. We got a cocktail and it was delicious, just a tad too much ice for the price. Otherwise was good.
We were staying at the Frederick House hotel across the road. Breakfast at the Rabble was included. The place has a friendly and welcoming ambience and the menu has a great selection of breakfast meal options. We tried different menu items on the two days and all were excellent. The service was friendly and quick. Great job guys, especially Victoria who made us feel welcome.
Nice location reservations are a must at the busy time of the year. They served orange wine, which is fabulous as no easy to get. For starter baked brie with honey and truffle with bread. We had to ask for the bread to be changed as was so hard and impossible to eat. The fish tacos were light and full of flavour. Would recommend them. Would definitely eat here again
The atmosphere is nice and the staff are lovely. I decided to check this place out due to the interior decor and how nice the menu sounded. I felt what I had to eat wasn't as good as I'd hoped it would be, especially for the price. I went to dinner at 5pm on a Sunday and every toilet in the women's bathroom was horrible. My friend and I decided that we probs won't go here again. I do think it's a better place to grab a drink over the weekend than to necessarily eat there.
We stayed here 1 night at the hotel, the room is clean and modern. I loved the shampoo and conditioner they provided, water pressure in the shower was great! They allowed us to drop off luggage a few hours before check in time, and brought them to the room for us once the room was ready. Super friendly staff. There were a couple minor issues with the room, but the staff we spoke with was extremely professional and helpful. We felt completely safe walking around the area at night, there are some wonderful restaurants nearby, within walking distance to almost everything. I would absolutely recommend staying here.
