The Queen’s Head is a cosy, country pub in the heart of England. We are proud of our home cooked food, using the finest local ingredients. We have a fine selection of beers, spirits and an extensive wine list, and comfy bedrooms to rest weary heads.
Wow. My partner and I were out in the Leicestershire countryside enjoying the sunshine and decided we wanted a bite to eat. We charged upon a sign to the Queen's Head so decided to give it a go. What a great experience this was. It doesn't look much from the outside but once you get inside there's plenty of space and it has been wonderfully refurbed making it a relaxing and attractive place to spend time. And then the food. Wow. Absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. We'll definitely go back there again.
Thought we were coming in for a lovely meal but left very disappointed by the quality of the food and the rude and aggressive manager. The steak was almost raw despite asking for medium rare chips were soggy as well. When asked to send steak back manager was very rude and confrontational.
OH MY WORD. I’ve had two events one Sunday after the other. One a sit down meal which just blew all 30 of us away. Food was delicious service was incredible . Sam being the Manager was on top of it all attention to detail was fabulous. Sunday after we had a buffet for nearly 30 people, what struck me on walking into the room is how the tables were laid out. You didn’t feel like you were on separate tables everyone could hold a conversation it was just perfect. Holly came in on arrival introducing herself she would be looking after us for our special occasion, boy did she nail it again attention to detail . What was nice is all the staff were in and out making sure our needs were met, but they weren’t intrusive you didn’t realise they were there. 5*plus without any doubt If you’re looking for somewhere just for lunch or a special occasion look no further this place is just perfect.
Amazing food!!! In the area for work, and we came here as a group. We were blown away by the quality and presentation of the food!! More than your average pub. Food was delicious, had trouble choosing from the menu!
Treated a party of 8 for a Sunday lunch/birthday bash. One of our party is gluten free which can be a problem, the staff were very good with the way they advised them, very impressive. All the staff were very good. The food was lovely and there was a good selection, drinks were very nice, the environment was very pleasant, the delivery of the birthday cake was great (and nicely embarrassing for the birthday teenager) a little bit expensive but hay ho, have had no problem recommending this establishment.
