About us

Welcome to The Queens Head Inn, the traditional style country pub which is a favourite of Minehead locals. Located just off The Avenue in Minehead’s town centre, we offer a warm, welcoming atmosphere, delicious food and friendly staff who are always happy to help. At our spacious bar, we serve a wide and varied selection of wines and spirits to cater to every taste, as well as our great range of draught beers, real ales – and soft drinks for the designated driver.

Don’t go hungry! Check out our main menu for some delicious pub grub, or try something different and go for one of our popular Thai dishes. We also have a popular carvery on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, as well as a special Sunday lunch carvery at the weekend. We are confident that you’ll find something you’ll love!

If you’re looking for some entertainment, we host special events most weekends. These include everything from karaoke for the budding rock-stars among you, to live band nights for those who prefer to listen. Round up your friends and family for a great night out!

If you prefer a quieter source of entertainment, we also have two pool tables, a darts board and skittles available. Enjoy a game while still enjoying the warm, friendly atmosphere of the main bar, or make the most of a rare sunny day with a drink in our welcoming outdoor area.

I was looking forward to treating my friends last Friday as Ive eaten here lots and struggled to chose a dish due to the deliciousness. Sitting quite smug imagine my horror when our meals came. My belly pork was tough as old boots with floppy crackling, lees fagotts were mediocre served with still frozen peas whilst Rhys's coleslaw just turned his tummy. Obviously change of chefs and managemenr. We voiced our feedback and they took on board. We left not wanting deserts and paid in full....just disappointed I gues it can only get better

Went here for a carvery without booking. Very busy place and people usually have to book as it's popular. Didn't take too long to pay and get carvery. I think there was a choice of four meats (beef, pork, turkey and can't remember the last meat). A small selection of veg and Yorkshire pudding. The gravy was nice and thick. I enjoyed my dinner but my wife's turkey was grissly which was disappointing other than that everything was good. There is an area for playing darts and snooker with music playing which was on the loud side but I would definitely go back again.

Visited this awesome little charming pub set back from the shops to celebrate my 42 birthday on Christmas Eve. Played snooker with the father in law for a few hours also enjoyed the use of the wall mounted music system, listening to songs from 1974. Awesome decor. Well looked after snooker tables. Whilst enjoying a few ciders. Staff very welcome. And gave use both a warm welcome followed by thanking us for our custom. Can highly recommend this pub
