Had a most delicious lunch with a couple of friends here yesterday for the first time. The pub's attractive decor was added to by the welcoming and friendly staff. I look forward to coming back again soon, and to tasting cakes from Bessie's too. Thank you for a great experience.
My wife and I used to live in the village back in the seventies. Very fond memories of the Queen's. Went for lunch just before Christmas last year, great job you've done on the pub, nothing like when Tony Howells had it. The food was first rate, we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you all . Ps , we got married in the church in the village some 45 years ago.
Lovely friendly welcome and great ambiance. Mulled wine was excellent. Only disappointment was my pie. It was small with very little filling and hard pastry. Surely a restaurant as good as this could make their pies? We will return but I’ll order something different.
Definitely recommend this beautiful village pub for its wonderful food, fantastic welcoming atmosphere and its lovely decor which is such an amazing transformation to the tiny pub it was years ago. The village itself is also a joy sitting at the foot of Bredon Hill in the Cotswolds with castle ruins, charming cottages, babbling stream and stunning views - all making for a great place to walk. We had a family meal for my elderly Mum’s birthday and the staff made a great fuss of her which was very much appreciated. Service was excellent and we didn’t wait long for our food even though it was very busy. Best of all, this pub is community led and a real credit to the village who saved it from closure. Thank you everyone 🙏🏻
We had a warm welcome, and the service and food was excellent. We will definitely be going here again! It was reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly. It's easy to park outside, and the surroundings are stunning. Good pub food, and drinks.
