Mouldy, damp, stagnant room. I booked a room, but didn’t stay after I saw all the mould and felt the damp covers. The room isnt fit for purpose, and a health risk. Works need to be done to rectify this.
Great meal, haddock and chips perfectly cooked. Too full to sample any dessert but menu looked very good.
Nice pub with an efficient and friendly woman behind the bar. Locals were friendly too. Beer was good. Shame they don't buy beer from the Eyam Brewery which is based in the same village
First time staying here and we will definitely be back. Our hosts were superb and very friendly. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable and the food was amazing. Good value and an ideal base from which to explore the local area. Will definitely be staying here again.
Absolute gem of a find whilst staying in the dales. We stayed one night at the Queen Anne. The breakfast was amazing. Expect the works! The room was perfect for what we needed. Very clean, spacious, good shower. A table had been reserved for us upon arrival which was a nice touch. Lots of options and plenty of specials available.
