Lovely warm and welcoming. Good range of Beers and wines.The Exmoor Gold Ale was to die for. The food and service was first class too and all in all an excellent experience. I highly recommend The Pyne Arms to anyone seeking the above : )
First visit and it won't be the last! We had the set Christmas menu, it was amazing, the soufflé to start was perfect, the turkey was lovely and the veg perfectly cooked. The best Christmas pudding I have had in a long time. Staff lovely and very efficient, the place was full, but we were never kept waiting. Great place, and very prettily decorated for Christmas.
We had our wedding reception at the Pyne Arms at the start of the month and it was just perfect. Everything had been planned so well and decorated so beautifully. It was full of fairy lights and bunting which made it look so cosy. The tables were laid exactly the way we wanted and everything just seemed to be in the right place! The service was spot on, so friendly and so attentive. The food was just delicious, the meat for our roast was just mouth watering and all of our guests enjoyed the food. One quoting it was the best food he has ever had at a wedding- and he’s been to A LOT of weddings. We also got to stay the night of our special day which made everything so much more relaxed and the room was even decorated just for us! It was all topped off in the morning with a well needed full English breakfast. Just perfect. We would more than recommend the Pyne Arms for food, B&B and of course your wedding reception! Thank you Amie & all the staff for going above & beyond.
Lovely village pub with old fashion charm. Served amazing Sunday roast beef. Desserts were too good to miss. Highly recommend.
We spent our wedding anniversary there and it was perfect, quiet and personal while still enjoying the busyness of a little, but well loved pub. Food was beautifully seasoned, flavours that complimented each other. Service knew all about the drinks and food, very attentive but not intrusive. I highly recommend this place.
