About us

TAKE A LOOK AT OUR MENUS

We carefully select all of the ingredients that go into our collection of modern and classic Italian dishes using local suppliers as much as possible. All of our pasta is made on-site every day by our devoted team of pastai using the freshest ingredients and highest quality flour, durum semolina and eggs.

Our pizza dough is made using finely milled ‘doppio zero’ flour from Napoli, our very own Geordie starter yeast culture, extra virgin olive oil, water and salt, carefully kneaded and shaped by our equally devoted team of pizzaioli, before being aged for no less than 72 hours to build an unmistakable and unforgettable flavour.

This was our second visit in a month or so, this time taking our Italian loving kids. It is perfect for families - well priced, fresh food, really well cooked. The team are always lovely, and super helpful. It's one of my fave Italians in Newcastle

21st dec first visit ,very welcoming staff ,very nice and bright surroundings , service very good , and we really enjoyed the food and drink , we will be coming back

Good place, well worth a visit. Food is excellent, you can tell they really care about what they do. Great atmosphere: helped by décor but mainly due to super staff. Had to lose a star from Service because they could really do with another body. Although finding people to match the current staff can't be easy. Watch out: there is no automatic tip added to the bill, you have to actively decide to do that (and the staff deserve it). Overall recommended.

Absolutely beautiful, fresh food. Eight of us ate here, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Service was excellent and friendly, the food was just so good. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Very impressed with the starter we had to share, mozzarella was amazing! Asked for balsamic vinegar and it was no problem. It transported us back to our Honeymoon in Rome’s side streets eating where the locals do! Lasagna and beef were both amazing… so was the side salad, the leaf selection was perfect and just went really well…. only tiny negative was not being offered more Parmesan but it was busy. Took a little time to order deserts and were sold out of one, shame… the apple desert was a show stopper when it was set a light. Gent with the amazing moustache at the end was lovely when we were paying. Recommending the sharing starter and the cloudy lemonade!! Great quality and clean plates! Food was put together well, entertaining seeing the pizza spun, loved it when the lights were dipped. Would add the knocking for service is slightly annoying when in for a while. Booked for our Wedding Anniversary, noted when booking but feel this was a slightly missed opportunity… why ask? Just a little room for improvement on that marketing side… we will definitely be back and loved the food!!! I can honestly see why it is highly rated and we will be recommending it to family and friends and be back soon. Cost we also found to be incredibly reasonable! Love the deals they have on for a few days of the week - cocktails also looked amazing. Next time we won’t be driving!
