Traditional open plan 1970's estate pub on the very edge of Leek, getting it's trade from the local community; basically one large, L-shaped room inside, the bar in reached by walking through a comfortable lounge area.
There are two match condition pool tables, a dartboard and a TV to occupy your attention, and a small smoking patio is located at the rear of the pub with a car park to the side. Regular charity events including a monthly pub quiz in aid of local dog rescue society. No regular food served, but there is a popular Steak Night on the third Saturday of every month and occasional other special events.
Nice place to sit with friends for a drink. They don't serve food other than for the pool and darts teams. The new manager is trying to encourage more visitors, e.g has a quiz once per month.
Cracking boozer. Took me back to when pubs were heart of communities
Went into this pub for the first time last week. The decor is classic and perfect the the area. It's very welcoming and friendly. Beers are normal and local. Would highly recommend this pub to anyone
This pub is a little gem! Friendly staff, dog friendly and hold many great functions here! Great place for darts and a game or 2 of pool!
Very clean, friendly pub with good beers. Excellent steak nights with good selection of main courses and sweets
