Great little traditional pub with yummy food, good service and friendly staff. We went for a Christmas get together as a group and they were still really good. Has a nice fire to warm yourself in the winter.
We visited this lovely little pub for sunday lunch, it was perfect - the food was cooked to perfection and super tasty. The tables are well spaced out so whilst it was busy we did not feel crowded in and the service was excellent. Highly recommended.
This is how pubs should be. Home cooked food of good quality. Menu along with specials gave our group a nice selection of starters and mains. Reasonable selection of wines and beers. Service was fast and although busy checked that we were happy on each course. I had liver and bacon in a rich gravy with mash. Very tasty and good size portion. Didn't go for the desserts as we were all too full. Prices are fair and we will definitely return.
Fresh and tasty food which we had to wait 25-30 mins for but it was worth it, as it tasted amazing and also good sized portions! The pie was piping hot and was cooked perfectly! The pricing wasn’t too bad but you get what you pay for! Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff! And lovely to know that dogs are welcome too! We’ll definitely be revisiting again! 😊
Great service, great atmosphere, will be returning soon to eat. Update, we did return for food food and it was fantastic.Love this place, the welcome we continually receive when we walk through the door makes us feel welcome and valued customers. We came here a few months ago just for drinks and vowed we would return for food. We have now returned on a few occasions, once for lunch and had the best ploughman’s we have ever had. Returned again on Sunday and they managed to fit us in even though they were fully booked. Thank you so much.
