Visited on a sunny Tuesday. Beautiful, homemade steak pie and proper veg and mash. Try the battered parsnip! Amazing. Highly recommend... you definitely won't leave hungry.
Superb homemade steak pie. Very very impressed. Steak baguette lite bite was huge and the steak just melted in your mouth.
Nice and spacious. The soft play is lovely, kids really enjoyed it. Food was a let down. Orders kids beef burger, smile face and beans. The smiley faces was rock solid, over cooked all 4 kids who had then left them. Ordered burgers £13.99 which themselves were nice, bbq pulled pork wasn't actual pulled pork more like diced pork with sauce but still lovely. The chips looked like they'd been cooked a little too much, then had been reheated, the bigger sized chips were alright the smaller chips were rock solid. I will say the portion sizes were actually decent for the price. I personally wouldn't eat there again but definitely do recommend kids soft play but also for the outside kids play area in summer
We visited for a multi birthday celebration and we are so glad we chose The plough, the staff were possibly the friendliest helpful staff of all the places we have been. The food was lovely, very filling I don't think we had an empty plate as the portions were so large. Everything tasted homemade the steak and ale pie in particular was amazing! We were made to feel so relaxed and welcome that we went back this morning for buffet breakfast and to meet Santa as there is a whole grotto and the children loved meeting Santa and Mrs Claus. I would highly recommend to visit we had a great time.
Had meals from regular menu. Beautiful went for the carvery Sunday was stunning. Best carvery we've ever had. Veg cooked perfectly. Great choice of meats. Only complaint music up and downstairs a bit too loud. See you soon and keep up the great work. Lovely smily staff too.
