Here on holiday, everything was perfect, 4 of us had the lasagne and it was the best I had in a long time. The service was good and had a present time there....!

A very pleasant pub with a good menu and atmosphere. We were very impressed with the amount of choice on the menu and the food that we did choose was absolutely divine. Presentation and flavor was fantastic and far more than I would expect from a pub in the middle of nowhere. The interior of the pub was a little bit tired in some parts but really not a problem when the food is this good. Will hopefully visit again.

Lovely Sunday lunch today, great service, very friendly and all the staff was great too. Really enjoyed the three course, will be back soon. Started eating the dessert before I took the pic as so lush. Would recommend 100% Thanks.xx

As an update to this review: It is a lovely place, it is stunning food and always has a good vibe. Gorgeous pub grub. Best place in the area! Can't knock the food- high quality pub grub, wholesome meals and you'll leave with your belly full. I felt they went a little heavy on the cheese on all dishes that had cheese and used a strong cheese that dominated the flavour of some dishes. Not sure what burgers they were as it was just the "deluxe burger" but it seemed as if it may have been a mix of pork and beef as was in the lasagne. Cheesy garlic bread was more cheese and oil than anything else. Barring that, the food was well cooked and presented and was a lovely place to eat. I am sure we'll return as a family. Price was good too. Had a good experience here overall however I felt that the service could be improved. The place felt a little like it was being run by children and we were ignored on numerous occasions as they were dashing to and from place to place. It would have been appropriate to say, "we'll be with you now" and come back to me. That said, definitely very friendly staff (bar one who maybe felt that everything was a bit too much trouble) and we were happy with our experience overall.
