I have been coming here as a childminder for a good few years now and Louise has a fantastic attitude to her job and loves the children. She always looks after us with food orders which are always amazing. I can’t comment on just one time we have visited as each time is as good as the last. Louise always goes above and beyond with her work and puts on some amazing party’s for Halloween and Christmas. Kathleen sometimes works in the wacky and she also has a great attitude with the children. We have been to other wacky’s in the past so I know the difference between staff who enjoy their job and those which don’t.

Nice spot for breakfast after the Long Eaton Parkrun. Under a tenner & that's with a drink. Will be returning.

The staff in the children's play area are always amazing, polite and fun to the kids and always remember us and make us welcome. The same cannot be said for the management or some of the servers from the other side of the pub, rude and very uptight to their employees and even some customers, leaving food to go cold instead of jumping into help which they would expect of all staff. We only come back here for the usual staff we have in the child's play area.

Ordered mac and cheese and got slop and cheese...menu stated crispy bread crumb topping, and I got mac and cheese with a slice of bread broken over the top, never seen rhat before in my life!!... food was terrible, but I will say they went above and beyond telling us how to get our meals cheaper at the till, and replaced a few meals that was just not upto standard. Service good... food shocking.. if the food was better then I would return, but I think they need better microwave technicians! Lady's in wacky warehouse were great and place looked like it was managed great though, dirty tables cleaned as soon as people left.
