About us

Pinto Lounge sits on the corner of the High Street, right in the heart of Banbury. We’ve lovely big full width windows that open right up at the front, and doors opening onto a great little courtyard space at the back, so we’ve plenty of space to suit whatever the weather. We’ve a fantastic range of food and drinks (including kids, gluten free and vegan menus) served in a really relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The place had previously been a butchers (hence the beautiful tiles at the back) and a photography studio, which is apt as you may want to say “Cheese” with your meaty burger. Not really sure that works, but you get the idea.

Amazing food. Great staff. One of the chefs (older guy) looks miserable/mardy but everyone else is really friendly and will definitely be back for more.

Beautiful place. Clean, tidy. We took 2 kids and my partner has a gluten intolerance. Best GLUTEN FREE MENU We've EVER SEEN ! Kids were welcome and staff playful and kind. Food was fantastic. Partner loved it, I loved mine. Kids ate quite a bit and all round fantastic. Will be our go to place to dine as a family when we visit Banbury.

Been there twice within two days. Will probably go again for breakfast this morning 🥰 I’m gluten free so it’s amazing to see a gluten free menu, they have a vegan one as well. For dinner I had a buttermilk fried chicken and it was so delicious, the best fried chicken I’ve had since being gf. The Miami brunch was also very nice.

What a lovely place. Great atmosphere, excellent food of very high quality and really good staff. The mix of clientele was astonishing, young lads having a pint with a breakfast, families with young kids, couples and oldies. All enjoying the food and setting. Very impressed. Would recommend to any and all. Brilliant!

We both enjoyed a lovely burger each! 🍔 It was a Monday and it was very quiet as you'd expect. We weren't offered the free glass of wine each when we ordered! It wasn't till we noticed on the menu after we'd ordered that a free wine is offered on Monday's. We did then go back and ask for it! Is this company policy or poor training!? Maybe it's up to us to read the menu properly but you never normally expect a free glass of wine! I think had we been offered it at the beginning, then you'd of definitely got 5 stars from Nigel and Claire.
