I've gone to pink toothbrush twice, first time I was accused of being drunk and wasn't let in which left me a bad taste in my mouth with the bouncers initially, however second night I was let in with no issues and had a really fun night, good unique indie music and a great atmosphere. Definitely worth going if you enjoy alternative rock and dance music.
i had never been here before last night and i actually really enjoyed the general vibe. the staff were amazing, the music was good for the mostpart, and it had an immaculate vibe. i wouldve loved to have come here when it was a bit more alternative based though. also, was easily smashed off a £10 bottle of wine.
My experience at the pink toothbrush was perfect, Don't let the low reviews fall you. The bouncers are not abusive. They are friendly and respectable. The people they have thrown out, leave reviews. Bad reviews I've had nothing but good times At the pink toothbrush, And I've been looked after.
Shame zero stars aren't available. Bouncers on a power trip, overly and unnecessarily abusive throwing 8 punches to a blokes head just because he didn't realise you needed to buy a wristband for a smoke. Oh and police are in their pockets so they do nothing either.
I took a couple of sips of the carlsberg on tap that I’d bought and it tasted awful, as did everybody else’s I was with that ordered one. Asked the bar staff to switch it for something else, but this was the only lager on tap. I then asked for a bottle of beer instead but was told they can’t do that, but could give me a pint of cider (which I don’t drink). I then asked why they were happy to serve beer that clearly didn’t taste right, to be told that it’s just what Carlsberg tastes like. I said well what are my options then, because the beer tastes terrible. Bar staff said the options are to either drink it or leave it. In keeping with the carlsberg theme “probably the worst service I’ve ever had in a bar/club”. Other than that, we all had a great night once we’d wasted our first pints and then switched to bottled beer.
