The team at this pub are great. They listen well and work hard. The roasts are wonderful and plentiful. Good drink offering too. The space is airy and light. We came back after a cold Sunday when the boiler was broken. Nice for everyone the heating is now back. We’ll be back without doubt

All the bar staff except one was very friendly, kind and hospitable. The one really let the rest down. Otherwise, the food was amazing, the atmosphere was really nice, music was good and the quiz, an unexpected surprise. It was warm and comfortable too. And the NHS discount made it great value!

Just been nipping in for a quick beer while I’m working in the area. Friendly staff, great location, cool building and a sun trap on the terrace. I had the French steak dipping sandwich, which although impossible to eat gracefully was delicious and came with a beer or wine. Very friendly staff. Enjoyable all round.

What a lovely dog friendly pub! The Fox on the Hill which is a whetherspoons told us we were not allowed a dog in or outside the pub (which is absolutely ridiculous in my opinion). We then found this pub a little way down the hill. The food was amazing, as well as the staff and just a lovely atmosphere and outside tables. They even have water bowls and treats for our furry canine friends. Such a lovely little touch I think. See our food. It was Nachos, fried chicken with a really yummy sauce and Chicken Schnitzel.
