What a great pub. Perfectly clean, great quality beer and welcoming atmosphere. Very well priced. Would be great to see people supporting local pubs as gems like this should be treasured for years to come
Popped in today for a drink, what a lovely pub, a nice landlord and had a nice chat with a local family. Worth going a bit out of your way for a visit. Beautifully decorated, cosy with a Woodburner going and lovely clean toilets. We. Will definitely be going back there, hopefully to try the food next time.
Haven't stayed there but they do the best Sunday Roast ever
Called in today to celebrate a birthday, and had a great meal. My mother who doesn't eat a lot, cleared her plate, so all round empty plates. Had the Cajun Salmon with Sweet Potato Fries, which was excellent, and Bread and Butter Pudding with Custard also good. Fully recommend, good friendly staff, great menu choices, good selection of drinks and great atmosphere. Will be back again.
A lovely pub with a homely feel. Great service from the friendly chap on the night. Food came out hot without too much waiting after ordering. Well worth going out of your way to visit, we'll be back for sure.
